COMPATIBILITY

• NOT COMPATIBLE:::
  VW double din (4 inch radios) are NOT compatible
  VW single din radios (2 inch high) ARE compatible
  1997 or EARLIER Audis are NOT compatible.
  Early 1998 Audi cars, CHECK FOR PREWIRED *13 PIN* cd changer plug in trunk before order. If your early 1998 Audi does not have a 13 pin cd changer plug or is a DELTA radio, it is NOT compatible. This unit wires AT THE FRONT, AT THE HEAD UNIT.
  
  
  APPLICATIONS (read)
  
  Note: This interface requires you to disconnect the factory CD changer or factory satellite tuner in order for use. If you have a cd changer connected or a factory satellite tuner connected, it must be disconnected.
  
  
• Audi cars 1998 with PREWIRED 13 pin CD changer cables (13 pin cable confirms compatibility, this unit wires in the FRONT at the RADIO, not at the prewired changer cable)
• Audi cars 1999-2001
• Audi cars 2002-2004 (use dropdown, includes cost of Y adapter required for 2002+ vehicles)
• VW / Volkswagen cars 1998 and newr with SINGLE DIN RADIOS
  (single din radios are 2 inches high, double din radios which are 4 inches high are not compatible including the Touareg )

  OPERATIONS (as printed at the time of this writeup)
  
• The CD or CDC button will select/deselect the iwire interface
• Seek up / Seek up will track up and down within a playlist when pressed and released. At the end of the playlist, the track will wrap around to the beginning. Holding the buttons will provide fast forward or rewind operation
• DISC DOWN functions as a PLAYLIST DOWN button
• DISC UP functions as a PLAYLIST UP button
• PRESET RECALL 1 will access ALL songs in order
• PRESET RECALL 2 through 6 will select playlist 1 through 5, if there are less than 5 playlist, the button will have no effect.
• FF will perform FAST FORWARD within a track until RELEASED
• REW will perform FAST REWIND within a track until RELEASED
• SCAN will track up once every 10 seconds until pressed a second time
• RDM/SFL toggles RANDOM operation
