How does this work:
Fuse taps are used to tap the fuses at the factory fuse box. It will provide you with a constant power or an accessory power source (tapping a fuse source which comes on with the car). If you are installing an accessory which requires an ignition source and also a constant power source, we recommend you buy multiple taps.

Warning and instructions on application:
Please note, you will still need a meter or test light. The fuses will have power coming to ONE side and then the other side of the fuse will be the fused side. This product is designed to work on the FUSED side since this will keep the integrity of the fused circuit. The easiest way to find out which side is fused is to turn the car off, remove the fuse you wish to tap from the fuse box and then test both terminals. Only one side will have power with the fuse removed, the other side will be the fused side. We also highly recommend you do not overload the factory fuse rating. Make sure the accessories you are using will not pull too much amperage and will blow the factory fuse rating (for example, high power devices like foglights, power inverters, interior lights, amplifiers, etc) should not be wired this way by directly to the battery. Low power consumption devices like LCD monitors, cellular phones, etc are perfect.

There are 2 types of fuses, large SPADE and mini SPADE fuses. Check your fuse box before ordering. Older cars will use large spade fuses, newer cars will use a combination of both or just the mini fuse tap
